violin help o.O?
im planning to buy a new violin since the one i got is weird o.O… well anyway whats a good kind… spruce?maple?.. and also the ebony stuff like that o.O.. oh and where is a good place violins are made (ex. made in europe or stuff like that)..and yeah
I just bought a stentor conservatoire from DJM music, they were the cheapest for this standard of violin. It is a nice violin, all ebony fittings and a bow with an ebony frog. Its an intermidiate violin.
Spruce top, is considered the best. Maple back and body is usually considered high quality. But beware of ebay, just because a violin is made with the right material doesn’t mean it has been made well or set up properly. China has some very high quality violins BUT they also have some very low quality ones too. To know which to get the best thing to do is ask a teacher.
In saying all that, however, I am very happy with my stentor conservatoire.
